Extended Afterschool Day Care
The Extended Day Care Program (EDC) provides after school care for the students of Notre Dame Academy Elementary from Transitional Kindergarten - 8th Grade. Our dedicated EDC team provides a safe and nurturing environment, which ensures the children are well cared for and happy.
Hours
Monday - Thursday
3:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Friday
1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
EDC is available every day after school, except for a few days as noted on the school calendar, usually around holidays and breaks.
2023-2024 Fees
(fees may increase each year)
- $7.25 per hour with a 30-minute minimum, after 30-minutes billed in 15-minute increments
- $5.00 per minute after 6:00 p.m.
- $25 registration fee

3:30 - 4:30 PM - Indoor/Outdoor Play
4:30 - 6:00 PM - Indoor Play
Homework
Students are put into grade-level groups, where the staff monitors and assists with their assignments.
Playtime
Students are given the option of playing indoors or outdoors. While outside, play consists of the use of various sports and playground equipment. Students also have the option of playing on the play structure. Indoor play includes arts and crafts, board games, Legos and puzzles.

The EDC program at Notre Dame Academy is fantastic. As a family with two working parents, it's such a comfort to know that our son is well taken care of after school. He gets his homework done, and has lots of playtime with different aged kids from every grade. We love the program.
