Innovation Lab

The Innovation Lab is the Makerspace at Notre Dame Academy Elementary.

A makerspace is a non-traditional classroom designed for the exploration of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (S.T.E.A.M.) learning through a project-based curriculum.

In the Innovation Lab students learn and develop 21st-century skills through the process of designing and making.

Students are given design challenges that they must solve in small teams. The lab is equipped with traditional tools and state of the art technology such as 3D printers and Arduino based circuitry kits.
