2021 - 2022 Application

How do I get an Application?

Our online application will open on October 9, 2020.  It is advised not to wait until the due date to start an application, as the complete packet requires additional paperwork and information from other sources.

When can I visit your campus?

*We are currently reimagining our events to make them virtual as mandated by governing officials. Please check back for any updates and complete details of how you can experience the magic of NDA.  If we can be in person, this is how we will do our visits.

We invite you to see first-hand the educational environment you are seeking for your child. At our Open Houses on October 24, 2020, from 10:00 am – 12:00 p.m. or November 18, 2020, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm you will see a presentation from our Principal, be able to visit the classrooms, and meet the teachers.  At our Visitors’ Days on December 9, 2020, and January 13, 2021, from 8:30 - 9:30 am you will have an opportunity to view the school in action with tours led by our 8th Grade Student Leaders.

How do I find out my testing time?

All applicants are tested for placement consideration. An on-campus evaluation with our outside educational resource company, Chancy & Bruce, will take place on Saturday, January 23, 2021. We will schedule your evaluation time once your complete application and fee have been submitted.  We will contact you with your testing time.

How do I find out the results of my child's evaluation?

Parents of children applying for Transitional Kindergarten - 1st Grade must attend the Parent Workshop with Chancy and Bruce at our school on February 23, 2020, at 7:00 pm.  At least one parent must be present.  This is an evening just for parents and no children should attend.  You will receive your child's report and information on how to interpret the information. Parents of children applying for 2nd - 7th grades will receive their child's results with their notification letters.

Is there an application fee?

Yes, there is a nonrefundable application fee of $100.00 per child for applications submitted by January 23, 2021. There is a $150 application fee for applications received between January 23, 2021 - June 15, 2021. Applications received after June 16, 2021, are subject to a $200 application fee.

When are applications due?

Completed Application Packets and fees are due January 21, 2021, to be considered in the priority admissions round and to secure an evaluation time at our on-campus developmental readiness test. Applications submitted after the deadline are subject to a $150.00 (if received by June 15th) $200.00 (if received after June 16th) application fee per child and applicants will not qualify for the NDAE sponsored developmental readiness tests. It will become the responsibility of the parents to schedule an appointment at the testing facility. A completed application and paid fee do not guarantee acceptance into Notre Dame Academy Elementary. We are sorry that we can only accept application packets with complete information and required forms.

Do you accept persons of other faiths?

Yes, Notre Dame Academy admits students who qualify for admission without discrimination on the basis of gender, race, or cultural background. However, as a Catholic school, Notre Dame Academy’s first preference is to Catholic students who qualify for admission. To that end, it is a requirement that all students participate in Religion classes and other Catholic practices at school.

Is there a waiting list?

Once the admission selections for the year have been made, the additional qualified students will be placed on a waiting list and notified if space becomes available. In some instances, you may be contacted as late as August.

How much is the tuition?

The current tuition for 2020 - 2021 is $11,100.00 per student annually for grades TK - 4 and $12,650 per student annually for grades 5 - 8. Tuition can be divided into quarterly or (11) monthly payments or paid in one payment through our tuition management program with FACTS. The tuition will not remain the same for the 2021 - 2022 school year as it increases annually. Tuition and Fees will be finalized and distributed with registration packets.

Are there additional financial obligations?

Our Annual Fund supports the many extras that make NDAE great.  This requires the participation of each family to help us reach our goal.

Will there be opportunities for me to serve the school?

YES! We rely on the time and talents of our parents to support the many programs at NDAE. Each family serves 8 hours annually supporting our programs and an additional 8 hours working the drop-off line to ensure our children are safe each morning.

Does Notre Dame Academy offer any type of financial aid or tuition assistance?

Yes. Information regarding our tuition assistance program is available on the Tuition Assistance page.

When will we find out if our child(ren) has been accepted?

Notification letters will be mailed out during the week of March 1, 2021.
